The time between a timebreak signal and the blaster high voltage pulse is measured and stored in memory. The width and amplitude of the high voltage pulse is also recorded. The self-contained unit can also measure delays between clock and radio timebreaks. Detonator fire times can be measured using an optional detonator test unit. 8.192 ms after receipt of a high voltage blast a 1 ms wide simulated uphole signal is generated. This can be input to the Uphole Geophone connection on the blaster to check that Uphole times are picked and transmitted to the recording instrument correctly. The result of each test is displayed on an LCD display and stored in a 511 record non-volatile memory. This can then be downloaded to a PC using the supplied RS-232 serial cable. The data is logged with the date and time of the test from the internal clock. All inputs are isolated to 1.5 kV.
